A designer working at a laptop in a bright studio

Nairobi · Imagine. Brand. Love.

Brand analysts.
Creatives. A unit.

We are beyond a pretty logo or a nice-looking business card. Strategy, identity, campaigns, film, events, packaging, the site and the press that prints it — built in one room and delivered as one system.

Disciplines

What we actually sell

One team, from the research to the room.

Most brands buy strategy from one firm, design from another and media from a third, then spend the year translating between them. We do the analysis, build the system, and carry it through every channel it has to live in — so the pieces match when they arrive.

How we work

Let’s build your
brand together.

Tell us the objective, the audience and the deadline. We come back with a route, a price and a date — not a questionnaire.

Start a conversation

Old school. New school.

Machines set type. They do not have ideas.

Everything that carries our name is conceived, art-directed and signed off by a person. The thinking, the concept, the words, the photograph, the press check — human, every time.

We also refuse to pretend it is 2009. Where a machine removes an hour of mechanical work — a background cut, a first transcript pass, a hundred resizes of an approved layout, a media buy rebalanced at 2am — we use it, and we say so.

That is the whole position. Craft is not slow because slowness is noble. Craft is slow where slowness earns something, and fast everywhere else.

  • Made by people

Concepts, copy, art direction, photography and film are originated by the named person who signs them. No generated imagery is passed off as a photograph.

  • Sped up by machines

Production, versioning, transcription, tagging, reporting and scheduling are automated wherever the output is checkable. You get the hours back as turnaround.

  • Told to you plainly

If a deliverable used a machine anywhere it mattered, it is written on the handover note. You always know what you are buying.

Our services

Two schools, one invoice.

The craft disciplines that need a human hand and a press check, and the digital disciplines that need instrumentation and a dashboard. Most agencies sell you one and outsource the other.

Also — the Print Desk

Already know what you need printed? Skip the brief.

Existing clients and anyone with artwork in hand can send specs and files straight to our press and get a job reference back.

How we work

Research, then a route. Never a route, then research.

Ours is a journey that starts with market research and a brand audit — funky consumer goods brand or serious corporate brand, the order is the same.
01

Analyse

Market research, brand audit and the interviews nobody enjoys booking. We find the point of difference before we decorate it.

02

Imagine

Strategy and concept. Routes on the wall, argued in the room, narrowed to the one that does the job.

03

Brand

The system gets built — identity, layouts, packaging, site, film. Internally first, so your own people believe it, then outward.

04

Deliver

On press, on air, on site, in the room. Checked by the person whose name is on it, delivered in Nairobi or wherever it needs to land.

The team

Two names on the work.

Small enough that the person you brief is the person who delivers, backed by the studio, press and production crew the job calls for.
